I came across Guy Debord’s The Society of the Spectale, text here

It presents a critical theory https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Spectacle_(critical_theory)

It made me think of Aristotle’s use of the term in his Poetics

And in particular we have the show happening in the US election at present.

Does this link to the notion of flaneur?
