Had a great discussion with Art today about the project.

We spent a bit of time talking about a couple of seemingly tangential topics: epistemology, Paul Ricoeur, Simone Weil.

We talked about the previous meeting and our discussion of pedagogical principles and I noted the couple of things that have been on my mind most: bandwidth, character (transformation).

Most of our time was spent around bandwidth and how that could provide a rich framework for the project. Bandwidth can be a useful measure or measure of expectation in communications between persons.

The idea that developed was that Art’s project could be best served by picking one technology and digging into it in terms of pedagogical usefulness whether it be fit for purpose or flexibility or bandwidth etc.
